Cancellation and No-Show Policy

At Caring Hearts Veterinary Clinic, we strive to provide excellent care for your pets, and we understand that life can sometimes interfere with

scheduled appointments. To ensure that we are able to accommodate all of our patients in a timely manner, we ask that clients adhere to the following cancellation and no-show policy:

1. Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the time slot to other patients in need of care.

2. No-Shows: Failure to show up for an appointment without prior notice is considered a “no-show” and is disruptive to the clinic’s schedule.

3. Repeated Cancellations or No-Shows: If a client cancels or misses 4 or more appointments in a 12 month period without sufficient notice, they will be removed from our client list.

We want to ensure that our time and resources are being used efficiently to serve all of our patients.

4. Fees: At the time of a missed appointment or late cancellation, a non-refundable fee of $25.00 for appointments and $35.00 for surgeries will be charged to your account. Please note that this fee will apply to future appointments if cancellations or no-shows continue.

5. Emergencies: We understand that emergencies happen, and if you’re unable to make it to your appointment due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work with you to reschedule.
