Although originally from Ohio, Dr. Fraizer has lived in Wichita since the summer of 1979. After graduating from Northwest High School, she attended Kansas State University. In 1990 she graduated with her degree in veterinary medicine from KSU and began practicing in Wichita. In August 2004 she ventured into ownership when she purchased Pottorf Animal Hospital, now known as Caring Hearts Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Gerri has a wonderful, supportive husband named Mike who is a supervisor in street maintenance for the city of Wichita. He also does most of the maintenance work around the clinic. They have 3 sons – Dalton, Seth, and Josh. Dalton graduated vet school at KSU in May 2021 and joined the practice June 2021 giving his mom some much needed help. Seth graduated from University of St. Mary in Leavenworth, KS December 2019 with a business degree and works at Martin Trucking in Kansas City. Their youngest son Josh graduated from Northwest High School May 2019 and works at Textron. They have 2 family dogs – Hazel, a rescued Pitbull, and Ellie Mae, a blue heeler.
